The client wanted to transform a dark, dated, and uninspiring loft kitchen into a bright, modern sanctuary. Navigating a compact footprint with tricky architectural angles required precision templating, fabrication and fitting and a solution that maximised light, improved spatial flow, and delivered a high-end, luxurious finish.
To elevate the space, white Calacatta quartz was selected as the focal point, featuring refined grey veining and a subtle shimmer to anchor a light, warm colour palette. Partnering with Barker Fleming, their excellent design focused on precise, bespoke stonework tailored specifically to the unique lines of the loft architecture.

Tailored Seating Area: We crafted a mitred end panel over a dedicated cavity to create an inviting breakfast bar. To optimise flow in a tight footprint and for a pleasing visual effect, the panel was angled to mirror the ceiling slope while the tapering of the leg profile took up less space at the bottom and made movement around the peninsula easier.
Modern Edge Profile: The worktopsfeature a clean, double chamfer edge for a sleek, contemporary aesthetic.
Seamless Functionality: We added matching 100mm upstands along the back walls, ensuring the cabinetry and plaster remain completely protected, clean, and watertight.
